Convention opens with spiritual celebration and joyful spirit

Delegate from territories around the world arrived over the past two days — with a few still to come.  As anyone would expect, the events of the week started with the celebration of the Mass.  Dinner followed, with the delegates sitting with their discussion groups, the teams that will share, debate and discern in the week ahead.  While it was mostly a “get to know you” time, delegates started to share their views on the Movement and its future.

The delegates are a diverse group:  64 participants from 16 countries.  The ages range from 20 to 67, with the average age being 42.
